Note on true/false HW: For true/false problems, you do not need to follow the book's directions. Instead, if a statement is true, you only need to mark it as true. If a statement is false, mark it as false and give a counter-example WHEN POSSIBLE. When possible, also modify the false statement to make it true. See examples covered in class on 1/22.

To study for the multiple choice exam , I strongly recommend reviewing all quizzes (3, 1, and 2). Practice versions of these quizzes will be available via webwork on Friday. Note, you need to understand questions/answers sufficiently well that if I make modifications to the problem, you can still correctly answer the question.

While all exams are semi-cumulative, exam 2 will focus on 2.8, 2.9, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 5.1, 5.2. (Note exam 3 and the final exam will be cumulative).
To study for exam 2, I strongly recommend reviewing HW 7, HW8, and WebWork HW 8, quiz 2, and theorem 8.
I have posted some additional practice problems on WebWork. These problems are NOT required. If you would like additional practice problems, please let me know.
