Old Capitol Building

Our objective is to host a small intimate workshop on recent advances in noncommutative analysis. Since there has been a lot of activity in all aspects of the subject in recent years, our objective is to set up opportunities for conversations and discussions among practitioners in various areas. Thus there will be talks on operator algebra, featuring both self-adjoint algebras and non-self-adjoint algebras. There were be talks on wavelets, harmonic analysis, dynamical systems and groupoids as well. All these areas, and more, interact to provide a richness and cohesion to noncommutative analysis. We especially want to encourage graduate students and young scholars to participate - to learn something about this very attractive and eclectic field and to have opportunities to interact with more senior investigators on an informal basis.

This workshop is funded by the grants DMS-1546401 and DMS-1301370 from the National Science Foundation.
