Some familiarity with the topic listed below is helpful in this course. Refer to these readings as needed.
We will use MatLab and Simulink, a MatLab plugin, for the course project. Introductory tutorials on the MatLab environment and language and on Simulink can be found on the MatLab website.
MatLab is installed on all the Linux workstations in the DIVMS labs. To run it, log in and from the top menu choose Applications > Mathematics > MatLab . Simulink can be invoked by pushing the Simulink Library button in the Home tab.
