The final will be comprehensive, and span the material covered from the beginning of the semester up to, and including, April 30. However, it will focus more on the material covered in the second part of the semester. It will be closed books, notes, laptops and other electronic devices. As with the midterm, cheat sheets are allowed (one sheet, front and back).

The exam will assume knowledge of all the reading material listed in the Lectures section (textbook chapters, notes, and code examples) as well as posted solutions to quizzes and homework assignments.

It may contain a mix of true/false, multiple choice, and short answer questions. It will contain Scala and UML questions although their focus will be on your understanding of Scala and UML, not on your remembering the exact details of their syntax.
