Recompiling the System

If you want to recompile the system you can do so, but you have to start with a compiled version of the compiler. The system stack available under Windows is very small - only 20K compared to 180K on the Macintosh version - and is not sufficient for recompiling the compiler from .lsp files. You can recompile the compiler as long as you start with a compiled version.
