Some software you may find useful. Many of these are available in the ITS labs and the department’s UNIX lab. For information on obtaining copies for use on your own computer follow the links.
- Symbolic Algebra Programs

- LAPACK is installed in the standard library directory and can be used by linking with the
-llapackflag for standalone programs. LAPACK can also be used with R; see the Writing R Extensions manual for details. - GSL The GNU Scientific Library. GSL is installed in the standard library directory and can be used by linking with the
-lgslflag for
