A bit more about myself non-professionally, but not too much!

Picture taken in July 1999 at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane in Australia with my friend Mr. Koka Koala. Koka is not a workholic, but he is a great dreamer, he usually sleeps 20 hours per day!

I do not care how many visitors browse to my homepage, so I will not tell you which number you are as a visitor, but you must certainly be a very exceptional person! What is important is not the quantity of visitors, but their quality anyway! I am glad to be here at the University of Iowa (to be pronounced aie!oh!ouah! in french ;-)) in Iowa City. Iowa City is nicknamed the "Paris of the Prairies" (Iowans have a good sense of humor sometime!). If you are interested in playing tennis with me I am looking for challenging partners, I am just not as good as my compatriot 92' Olympic gold medalist Marc Rosset who, like myself, is originally from the Swiss city of Geneva (more on the city in french or in english), the world capital of the Internet (people from Geneva we like to be modest ;-)) and where the World Wide Web was born (on the Swiss side of the CERN of course ;-)!). So, don't hesitate to contact me if you don't mind my aces and want to challenge me. If you can beat me then you can get a free dinner if you ask for it! My tennis games with our Associate Dean Raul Curto are always a big challenge and a lot of fun! Because of my origins I volunteer regularly at the french department to talk with students (it is never too serious believe me!), so you may meet me there if you are not a math freak!

I plan to create the ISAA (Iowa Swiss American Association), if you are interested in joining, please send me an e-mail, once we will be enough members (10) we can register at the Swiss embassy and get some support from the Swiss government for various cultural, entertaining, and fun activities.
