Assignment 2: Due Thursday, Feb. 4. Section 6.1, Exercises 2, 5, 6(c), 7. Section 6.2, Exercises 1 (just do some representative values for # G), 4, 5.
Assignement 3: Due Thursday, Feb 11. Section 7.1, Exercises 5, 10, 16, 17, 18. Section 7.2, Exercises 5, 7, 11, 12.
Assignment 4: Due Tuesday, Feb. 22. Section 7.3, Exercises 11, 16, 17, 18, 19b, 21, 22, 23.
Assignment 5: Due Thurssday, March 4. Section 7.4, Exercises 1,2,8. Section 7.5, Exercises 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Section 7.6, Exercises 2, 3, 4, 5.
Assignment 6: Due Thursday, March 25. Section 8.3, Exercises 1, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 13.
Assignment 7: Due Thursday, April 15. Section 8.2, Exercises 5, 7, 8. Section 8.3, Exercise 9. Section 8.4, Exercises 1, 2, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13.
Assignment 8: Due Tuesday, April 27. Section 9.2, Exercises 2, 4, 5. Section 9.3, Exercises 2-7.
There will be one or two midterm exams, dates to be negotiated; the dates will appear here when they are known. There will be a comprehensive final exam. The text of the exams will appear here after the exams have been done by all students.
