- Stem structures - Black narrow prickles on upper stem, dense at base, very high climbing vine.
- Fruit - More than 12, dark green when not ripe.
Deep moist shade environment with high climbing vines.
Alternating leaves.
Leaf upper surface, petiole, node and prickles.
Leaf bottom surface.
Petiole and 2 tendrils at base.
Leaf margin prickles.
Upper stem section with 2 prickles and node.
Stem at base with dense prickles.
Fruit cluster (drupe) not yet ripe. Note large number of fruit.
