I am an Associate Professor at Department of Mathematics,
University of Iowa.
I am also a faculty of AMCS and The Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Neuroscience, and a member of The Iowa Neuroscience Institute.
I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at PACM, Princeton University (2015 - 2018). I received my Ph. D. in Mathematics from Rutgers University, where my advisor was Prof. Eduardo D. Sontag (2015). I earned my Bachelor degree in Mathematics from Sharif University of Technology, Iran (2007). My interests lie in applied dynamical systems and partial differential equations. Specially, I am interested in employing techniques in dynamical systems and PDEs to model and analyze biological phenomena.
