From one of our students Fadi Towfic: I realize that many students seem to be having problems saving to PDF, as you are probably aware, this is because PDF is not a native file format to MS Word, so it requires third-party add-ons to enable saving to PDF. The program that I recommended was PDF Creator. It works with any MS Windows application to It can be downloaded from sourceforge.net The main page for the file PDFCreator-Setup-0_7_1.exe is: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=57796&release_id=173100 so the person downloading would have to scroll down quite a bit and click on PDFCreator-Setup-0_7_1.exe The direct link is: http://twtelecom.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/pdfcreator/PDFCreator-Setup-0_7_1.exe Although this is not guaranteed to always work. I have also attached some instructions on how to use the software once it installs. I would also like to mention that the main library has MS Word with some third-party software that allows word to save PDF files (if anyone has any problems with this, they can ask the lab monitors for help). The Computer Science lab has linux machines with OpenOffice which also has the ability to save PDF's, so that's another option.
