CS:1210 (22C:16 (CS:1210) Final Exam Announcement


The Final Exam for 22C:16 (CS:1210) "Computer Science I: Fundamentals" will be held on May 15th (Thursday) from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm in C20 PC (Pomerantz Center).

During the exam you can use any written material you bring, including lecture notes, Python program printouts, Python documentation printouts, etc. Make sure you bring everything that you feel you will need to the exam because you will not be allowed to share or borrow material with classmates during the exam. You will have to turn off and remove from your vicinity all electronic devices including cell phones, lap tops, calculators, dictionaries, etc.

The exam is worth 150 points, which is 15% of your final grade. Here is a brief description of the structure of the exam along with point distribution.

Each problem will have several parts. Problems 1, 2, and 4 will contain one part each that involve writing code, typically between 5-10 lines long. Other parts will involve evaluating expressions, filling in blanks in given code, and hand-executing code. Here are two practice exams: Final exam from Spring 2013 and Final exam from Spring 2012.
