A new release of XLISP-STAT, Release 3.49, is now available for
anonymous ftp from ftp.stat.umn.edu in

	pub/xlispstat/Alpha

UNIX sources, Macintosh and MS Windows executables are provided. For
the moment, this is an Alpha level release. If it is stable enough, it
will be made the default release soon.
