Hello, I am a PhD candidate at the University of Iowa. I completed my B.S. and M.S. at the University of Minnesota, Duluth (UMD).
My current research is focuses on both attacks against text classification systems and defenses to guard against attacks. I am also
researching bias in training data and classifiers, as well as other related areas.
Besides research, I like to spend time outdoors, hiking, running, and kayaking.
I ran my first marathon in October 2021, and am looking to run more in the future.
I have grown up mostly in Iowa and Minnesota, but enjoy traveling and have family spread across the U.S.
I am currently seeking an assistant professorship anywhere in the U.S.
