Travel Directions

From I-80:   Take exit 182 north three miles on Highway 146. Turn east (right) on Sixth Avenue (Highway 6).  Proceed three blocks to the corner of Sixth Avenue and Park St., which is the southwest corner of campus. Continue along Sixth Avenue, around the south end of campus, across the railroad tracks to East St.  Turn left onto East St. The first available right hand turn will put you into a parking lot directly across the street from a long series of connected dorms that run along East St. This lot will say that it is restricted to either Faculty-Staff or Students, but you should park there anyway; Campus Security has assured us that they will not ticket cars. Cross the street, enter dorm loggia, and ask directions to the Science Building. You can find a campus map at: http://www.grinnell.edu/aboutinfo/map .   The Science Building is labeled EA on that map. Signs in the Science Building will direct you to Room 1023.

Those coming from Ames will probably take U.S. 30 to Route 146, south to Grinnell.  Find Route 6 and continue as above.

Those coming from the Cedar Falls area on Route 63, will turn right at Route 6, drive about 10 miles into Grinnell from the east. Several blocks after entering town you will see East St. Turn right and find the parking lot immediately on your right.
