Powdery False Cloak Fern

Characteristics
- Environment - Limestone bluffs and ledges.
- Fronds - Very small, leaves 3 to 5 pinnate up to 15cm long.
- Leaves - Triangular, incurved edges, white powder on the surfaces.
- Rachis - Reddish brown with a few thin scales.
- Spores - Spherical spore cases closely spaced along the edges of the leaflets.
The ferns are growing in a small niche in a vertical limestone bluff at the center of the image.
