Characteristics
- Fronds - Singly pinnate.
- Leaves - Closely spaced attached directly to the rachis.
- Rachis - Dark, scaley
- Spores - A few large, straight, angled indusia widely spaced along the edges.
Rock bluff environment. The presence of moss indicates this is a moist habitat.
Plant showing stems radiating from the base.
Foliage showing leaflet pattern and growth tip. Basal leflets are asymmetric at base of the leaflet.
Sori with opened indusia with spores showing. Note the central stem (rachis) dark color and rough surface.
