Based on replies to my query of October 2004 in the NA-Net Newsletter, I list a number of possible contacts for the distribution of books and journals that you may wish to give to a charitable cause. I am doing so as I retire from teaching. No consideration was given to the possible tax deductibility of such charitable gifts. Also, I assume no responsibility for the links listed below. You will need to contact these people and to ask them about the suitability of making a charitable donation to their university or institution of your books and/or journals. Note also that shipping costs are often something you may have to bear in making the donation, although sometimes special arrangements are possible.
If someone would like to add to this list or to modify it in some way, please contact me at atkinson@math.uiowa.edu.
